Which female singers are on the rise and which are on their way out?

There’s a certain irony to the news that, in the US, female singers will soon be making a comeback to the stage.

The BBC’s The Big Issue magazine recently asked female singers across the world to share their stories.

The list includes singers such as Amy Winehouse, Selena Gomez, and Ellie Goulding.
