The Los Angeles Lakers have signed veteran singer-songwriter-producer-actress-singer-actor Carrie Underwood, according to multiple reports.
Underwood will join the Lakers as a producer for the team’s upcoming exhibition games against the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers on April 26 and March 5.
She joins the team as an assistant coach, but has not been on the court.
Underwoods is expected to work closely with Lakers star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Lakers coach Luke Walton.
Underways debut is scheduled for April 4 against the Dallas Mavericks.
Under Woods’ debut is also scheduled for a game against the Chicago Bulls.
Under Woods most recent release was 2016’s “Fantastic Things” which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100.
Underbrooks most recently released her first single, “No Love” on June 2, 2016.
The song peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified platinum.
